Sky valley Corks & Kegs Block Party

 

August 3, 2019 - 3:00 to 10:00 PM

We're taking over the block and cranking up the music for one epic party! 

With more than 25 breweries, wineries, and distilleries, you’ll discover new brews, venture into fine wines and cocktails, and sway to some good tunes. Sound fun? Then the block party is for you! You’ll find outdoor dancing with 8 bands on 2 stages, amazing food trucks, a vendor street fair, the ever-popular prize wheel, the wine bar grotto, fun games, Peoples Choice voting, and so much more!

The Block party is a 21 and over event sponsored by the Monroe/Sky Valley Family YMCA and Cornerstone Academy. Proceeds benefit a variety of youth programs throughout the valley in Monroe, Sultan, Gold Bar, and Snohomish.

Childcare is also available through the YMCA just 1 block from the event. For more information about childcare please see the FAQ section.

Q: Is this event family friendly?

The Block Party is a strictly 21 and over event. Valid ID and a purchased ticket are required at the entrance. Tickets may be purchased at the event for $45.

Q: Where is parking?

Free parking is available at the east and south of the venue, at the YMCA one block away, at Lake Tye Park, at designated parking areas at Canyon Creek, Rhino, and Spectyr, and on some adjacent side streets.

Q: Is there A Designated Driver ticket?

Q: What about the childcare at the YMCA?

Yes. For those not drinking, there is a $15 ticket that includes a souvenir glass and complimentary soda or water A different color wristband will be issued.


No. Due to space limitations and nature of the event only trained and registered service dogs are allowed.

While you enjoy the event your child(ren) will also have a wonderful evening filled with games, crafts, food and fun! Parents can pick from two sessions, 3-6pm or 7-10pm. You may purchase only one time slot. $35.00 for one child or $50.00 for two children, $10.00 each additional child. Accepting ages 6 months through 11 years old.

Register in person at our Monroe YMCA Welcome Center. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE July 31st.

Craft and Merchandise Vendor Info

Fees
Fees for the vendor space is $50. This event is rain or shine. The fee is not refundable.

Space

Vendors have a 10’x10’ space located in the vendor area on Tye Street. See attached map for location details. Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, etc. Electricity is not provided, but you may use a small generator under 60 decibels. Portable tent lighting, such as LED, is highly recommended. Spaces are assigned upon arrival and staff will be available to direct you. Vendors should obtain a wristband from an event coordinator at the Info/Volunteer tent located in the middle of the event space.

Hours of Operation

Vendors may begin setup as early as 11 AM. Vendors MUST be set up and ready for business by 2:30 PM on the event day. Vendors must remain open until at least 9 PM and may bring cars into the area at 10:15 PM. Please note that the road reopens to all traffic at 11 PM and the streets must be cleared by that time. A limited number of volunteers may be available to assist with breakdown. Tents may not be left unattended during the event.

Parking

Vendor parking is located at Rhino adjacent to the event next to Storage Court as well as the east side of the Damar building. Look for Vendor Parking signs. Cars must be moved to the vendor parking areas by 2:30PM. There is no parking on Tye Street.

Restrictions

*All vendors must be over 21 years of age as vendor spaces are inside the age restricted area. No one under 21 is permitted inside the event between 3 PM and 10 PM.

*Vendors may not “roam” with their products or “hawk” (loudly shouting) items as sales are limited to designated booth spaces.

*Loud music is not permitted.

*Vendors may not sell any beverages, including bottled water.

*Pets are not allowed.

*Vendors engaging in any giveaways, lotteries, drawings, or raffles must be in compliance with the Washington State Gambling Commission and require licenses to be present, if required.

Security

The Corks & Kegs Block Party is not responsible for your booth space or contents. Neither The Monroe/Sky Valley Family YMCA nor Cornerstone Academy assume any responsibility for damage, injury, or loss of property. In accepting a vendor space you agree to hold harmless the City of Monroe, Corks & Kegs Block Party, Monroe/Sky Valley Family YMCA, Cornerstone Academy, and all their employees, representatives, sponsors and agents from any loss, damage, or injury caused by the operation of your vendor space at the 2019 Corks & Kegs Block Party.
